Bundesliga news: Frankfurt want squad 'continuity' as they fend off January offers

Midfielder Daichi Kamada and centre-back Evan Ndicka have been crucial for the team this season, and only have six months left on their respective contracts, which means they could leave on free transfers unless new contracts are thrashed out.

Frankfurt are determined to maintain some continuity and keep as many of their top players as possible, although they do not currently have "control" over Kamada and Ndicka.

"Basically, we don't want to let any players go," Eintracht board member for sport Markus Krosche told Frankfurter Rundschau.

"Maybe we'll loan out one or two players who haven't played much, but we won't sell any key players.

"We have control over many players, but not over some. That's just the way it is. But I don't think there will be a big upheaval; we want to maintain continuity."

There has been talk about Rafael Borre possibly attracting some interest as he is not currently satisfied with his playing time at Frankfurt, but it seems he may need to bide his time for now.

Krosche added: "'Rafa' knows that we want to keep him and not offload him. His representatives know that too."
