Bundesliga news: Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting back in contention for Bayern Munich

Bayern Munich forward Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting is likely to play against RB Leipzig on Friday, after recovering from illness.
The 33-year-old was in sensational form in the lead-up to the World Cup break as he scored six goals and provided two assists in his last six Bundesliga appearances.
Die Roten resume their league campaign against Leipzig, following the international break, and Choupo-Moting is once again in contention.
The former Paris Saint-Germain player missed the 4-4 friendly draw with RB Salzburg last week, and was given time off to recover.
However, Choupo-Moting is now back in training with Bayern, and coach Julian Nagelsmann will be hoping to see his form continue into 2023.
"The way he played in the past weeks, he's indispensable," Nagelsmann told the press late last year.
