Brentford v Liverpool tips: Free bets, bet builder predictions and odds

Liverpool travel to Brentford as they bid to extend their lead at the top of the Premier League table. We've put together a tasty bet builder that will warm up your wallet on Saturday, January 18.
Liverpool have a packed schedule over the next couple of months with the return of the Champions League, the Carabao Cup and FA Cup, so there are going to be plenty of banana skins chucked in the path of Arne Slot's men. The trick will be avoiding treading on them.
With just three wins in their last seven league games, and their only win of 2025 so far coming against thumping of League Two Accrington in the FA Cup, many could point out that the Reds are beginning to wobble and maybe Brentford could capitalise.
However, a hole has been blown in Bees' fortress Gtech Stadium recently and they've lost three of the last four at home, including letting lowly Plymouth dump them out the FA Cup.
The late home draw against Manchester City in midweek will have done wonders to their confidence at home, so we are not expecting Liverpool to romp this one.
We've put together a six-fold bet builder which has odds of 9/1 at the time at the time of writing.
Good luck and please gamble responsibly.

Brentford vs Liverpool bet builder
Mac Allister at least one shot - 1/9
BTTS to score
Brentford is the place to go for goals. Four of the Bees' last five league games have seen BTTS land, and there's an average of 4.2 goals scored per game.
The Bees have only failed to score in one home league game, while Liverpool are a bit leaky at the moment; they've only kept two clean sheets in the last nine and those were against Accrington and a terrible West Ham side.
Over 3.5 goals
As with the BTTS to score, we smell goals in this one, but there's not a lot of value in over 2.5 goals, so over 3.5 goals might be a better bet.
Brentford's last three league games have seen over 3.5 goals land, while it's also come in five of Liverpool's last seven.
Under 3.5 cards
Liverpool and Brentford are way down the Premier League discipline list this season.
The Bees have only seen yellow 31 times this campaign, which is nine fewer than the second least dirtiest team Manchester City on 40. Liverpool are just above that on 42.
This is peanuts compared to evil old Chelsea on 60 yellows and Southampton on 61, well that have to be the top of at least one table.
Also both sides have picked up just one red card in the league all season.
There was five cards in the reverse of this fixture back in August, but the two games last season saw just three in each match, so we'll lean into that.
Over 8.5 corners
Liverpool had nine unanswered corners against Forest in midweek, and this bet has landed in three of their last four matches.
Brentford rack up fewer corners but their midweek match with Man City saw over 8.5 land.
Jota goal
Diogo Jota netted a crucial goal against Forest in midweek and is inline for a start against Brentford.
However, his return to action from his latest injury is being carefully managed and Slot might keep him on the bench, so be aware that he might not play from the start.
Despite missing six Premier League games through injury, the striker already has five goals this season - three of those coming in the last six matches.
Mac Allister at least one shot
Alexis Mac Allister is not afraid of a shot on goal, and has had at least one in seven of the last eight games.
He had four shots against Manchester United and two against Forest, and only one of those was on target.
So stick to just a shot, boost your odds by upgrading to an on target shot if you are feeling brave.

What is a Bet Builder?
A Bet Builder is a type of bet that allows you to combine multiple selections into one bet. Think of it as a one-match accumulator, if you will.
You can bet on the match winner, total goals, corners and cards, as well as goalscorers. You can also pick out some more niche markets to exploit, such as passes, tackles and shots.
By combining these various markets, you can make the most of every action and achieve some juicy payouts.
Most bookmakers will limit the amount of selections you can add from one match to 10 or 12 markets.
You need every single selection to win to win your bet builder, but some bookmakers do have special offers, such as voiding a specific selection if a player doesn't start, or refunding you in the form of a free bet if just one selection causes you to lose.
