Brazil's Ronaldo: Paulo Dybala can thrive under Roma boss Jose Mourinho

Brazilian legend Ronaldo is convinced that Roma manager Jose Mourinho will be able to bring out the best in striker Paulo Dybala.

The former Inter and Milan star reckons Dybala made the right decision to leave Juventus and sign for the Giallorossi, where he can see the Argentine becoming a fan favourite.

"I find it very funny how Mourinho's appeal still works to this day. Whether it's sporting directors or players, it's very hard to say no to Mourinho," Ronaldo told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
"He makes you do what he wants, but he does so by convincing you that it's your choice. He's the right coach for Dybala, who in Rome can become an idol for all supporters."

Asked about Roma's prospects for the 2022/23 campaign, Ronaldo added that they will be tough to beat, especially at home.

"Aiming at a return to the Champions League at this point is a duty, even if Mourinho is too smart to say it; to start talking about the Scudetto would be to burn down a long-term project," he added.
"One fact is certain: playing at the Olimpico this year will be a living hell for everyone."
