Borussia Dortmund target Alexis Mac Allister as Jude Bellingham replacement - report

Borussia Dortmund are reportedly interested in signing Argentine World Cup winner Alexis Mac Allister should Jude Bellingham leave during the January transfer window.

According to Italian daily La Repubblica, Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Mac Allister is now wanted by Dortmund, among many others like Arsenal, Chelsea, Juventus, Inter Milan, Atletico Madrid and Benfica.
The report adds that Mac Allister is seen as a replacement at Dortmund for Bellingham who is expected to depart the club soon.
Liverpool are reportedly prepared to pay around 100 million Euros for the England star. On 2 January, Dortmund will meet with the 19-year-old Bellingham to get clarity on his future plans.
The German Bundesliga side are hoping to secure a reported 150 million Euros for Bellingham, which they are unlikely to get, but if they accept the Liverpool offer then Mac Allister is a definite option as a replacement for around 35-40 million Euros.
