Bayern Munich's Thomas Muller confident ahead of Champions League fixture against PSG

Bayern Munich's upcoming UEFA Champions League second leg fixture against Paris-Saint Germain on Wednesday at Allianz Arena has left many wondering about the team's chances.

However, Thomas Muller is confident that the Bavarians are on the right track having won the first leg thanks to a goal by Kingsley Coman. "The omens are good. We have the 1-0 in the back. We have the stadium behind us. And we have confidence," the 33-year-old Muller told Kicker's Georg Holzner in an interview.

After a quiet but adequate 2-1 victory over VfB Stuttgart in the Bundesliga clash on Saturday, Bayern are back on top of the Bundesliga table. However, the threat of being toppled by either of the currently in-form Borussia Dortmund or Union Berlin remains.

Muller isn't one to worry, though, and credited the fans in the Allianz Arena as contributing factors to their success.
PSG's explosive, lethal attack might be a cause for concern, but Muller remained confident in his team's abilities.
The German international forward also praised Borussia Dortmund and their winning streak in the Bundesliga. "You don't get ten wins for free. You're doing something right there. That has nothing to do with luck either," Muller emphasized.
As Bayern gears up for the crucial fixture, Muller's confidence and the team's recent performances bode well for the Bavarians. As Muller said, "We have the power of the Allianz Arena on our side."
