Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong returns from injury

FC Barcelona have been suffering with player injuries of late but some good news is that midfielder Frenkie de Jong is back with the squad training.

According to Mundo Deportivo, the Dutch midfielder should be available for Barcelona's next La Liga match against Celta Vigo at Camp Nou on Sunday.

De Jong picked up a muscle strain while on international duty with the Netherlands and missed the La Liga game against Mallorca and the Champions League loss to Inter Milan on Tuesday.
Coach Xavi Hernandez will be happy to have De Jong available as it adds to the depth in midfield plus the Dutchman can also be used in defence if necessary.
The bad news for Barcelona is that midfield Franck Kessie has an adductor strain that will likely keep him out of action for two weeks, which he picked up in Tuesday's game.
A further Mundo Deportivo report confirms that Kessie is also likely to miss matches against Celta Vigo, Inter, Real Madrid and potentially Villarreal.

The Catalans' injury list reads as follows: defenders Jules Koundé, Héctor Bellerín, Andreas Christensen and Ronald Araújo; midfielder Kessie and forward Memphis Depay.
