Arsenal defender Jakub Kiwior has the ability to triple his transfer value according to legendary goalkeeper Jens Lehmann.

The Polish international joined the Gunners in January 2023 from Serie A side Spezia on a long-term deal.

Since his arrival at the Emirates, Kiwior has made 21 Premier League appearances and has been steadily improving under manager Mikel Arteta.

When asked about the 24-year-old, Arsenal Invincible Lehmann believes the player is learning from teammate William Saliba.

“He is young, talented, fast, and has a lot of potential,” the former Premier League winner told Polish news outlet WP Sportowe Fakty.

“He can still develop a lot. In a sense, he learns from Saliba, although Saliba is also young. Kiwior's progress is definitely visible. Hopefully he keeps it up.”

Kiwior certainly didn’t come on the cheap as Arsenal splashed over £20m on his signature.

Nevertheless, Lehmann believes the player has enough ability to tiple his value during his time in the Premier League.

He added: “Arsenal has been operating professionally in the field of scouting for some time.

“The club keeps an eye on talented players and if they’re convinced, they goes after them. And that was the case with Kiwior.

“At some point, the Pole was certainly being watched by other big clubs, but Arsenal intervened at the right moment.

“Yes, they paid a lot of money, but that's how you pay in the Premier League. Besides, as I said, Kiwior is young, he can develop and double or even triple his value.”
