Chelsea may have seen their hopes of signing Erling Haaland dashed, but have they beaten Tottenham to a key defensive target?

It's a beutiful story... I mean, which club doesn't dream of a top transfer target openly telling the press that he 'hopes' the rumours of him moving are not true?
Fair to say that Erling Haaland did not give the Champions League winners much encouragement when asked about his future.

Leeds would be getting gem if there is any truth in this rumour from Il Bionconero, although Sampdoria have warned it would take a huge offer to wrestle Mikkel Damsgaard from their clutches.
As per Italian paper, Il Bianconero, Leeds United are reported to have made contact with Sampdoria for Danish winger Mikkel Damsgaard.
