In a wide-open market, debutant Against The Wind is leading the betting. 

Kevin Ryan's stallion is an unknown quantity but it seems punters are being tempted by the Ryan stable, with them boasting a 17 percent strike rate in 2024. 

Another contender is Bryan Smart's Station X, who performed well on debut with a good second at Musselburgh and was only narrowly beaten by three-quarters-of-a-length.

Jockey Paul Mulrennan looks like a good booking and is coming off the back of a good day at Ayr on Tuesday, picking up two victories.

However our first selection goes to Francisco's Piece, who has York regular Tom Marquand in the saddle. 

Adrian Paul Keatley's stallion landed a victory on his first outing at Pontefract, an impressive debut outing over this distance. 

The booking of Marquand is an excellent one, he has had 24 winners at this course over the last five years, only Daniel Tudhope has had more. 

The Marquand factor seems to have swayed the Tipstrr camp and with odds of 6/1 at the time of writing, he could land punters a tidy profit.

With 11 coming to post there are plenty of contenders in the each-way market and one contender who has got the backing of some of Tipstrr's each-way experts is Zabeel Road.

The two-year-old is representing Charlie Johnston's yard and made an excellent start to his career with a win at Ayr last month over the same distance. 

That win came on good ground and the going will be the same at York so he's definitely worth a punt at odds of 9/1.
