Thursday's ITV tips:
13:50 (Newmarket) Furthur
14:25 (Newmarket) Maximized
15:00 (Newmarket) Hucklesbrook
15:35 (Newmarket) Ghostwriter
13:50 (Newmarket) Furthur
Four of these five were last seen running in the 1m6f G2 Queens Vase at Royal Ascot.
Furthur fared best when second that day. Was a touch unlucky with his passage blocked in the straight. Trained by Andrew Balding and this stayer looks progressive and can score in the Bahrain Trophy Stakes.
Can confirm placings with Scandinavia who shaped nicely back in fifth. Racing for Aidan O'Brien and remains open to further improvement with first-time cheekpieces applied.
Nightime Dancer brings a different form-line having finished tenth attempting the G1 Epsom Derby in latest. Cannot be ignored up in distance.
14:25 (Newmarket) Maximized
The Group 2 Kingdom Of Bahrain July Stakes is a fascinating two-year-old contest.
Maximized still looked to have more to give when making it two from two in a conditions event at Epsom. Trained by Charlie Appleby and can remain unbeaten.
The Aidan O'Brien-trained Brussels impressed when resuming at the Curragh and holds obvious claims for a team that won this last season.
Do Or Do Not remains a maiden. Cannot be ignored on the back of his excellent second in the G2 Coventry Stakes at Royal Ascot.
Jel Pepper won nicely debuting at Goodwood a month ago. Could go well if handling the forecast better ground.
15:00 (Newmarket) Hucklesbrook
The Bet Boost At Bet365 Handicap looks competitive. Booking Ryan Moore catches the eye on Hucklesbrook with the improving Roger Teal trained three-year-old going well tackling this trip at York last time. Could take another step forward and deny the 9lb rise.
Double Rush finished a creditable third in that handicap and is weighted to go close off an unchanged mark.
Realign remains unexposed. Shaped better than the bare result when ninth tackling a 5f handicap at Royal Ascot last month. Respect back over 6f for top connections.
15:35 (Newmarket) Ghostwriter
Amo Racing purchased the expensive Ghostwriter who plugged on nicely delivering first start over 1m4f to finish third behind a high-class horse in the G2 Hardwicke Stakes at Royal Ascot. Will find the Princess Of Wales's Stakes easier.
Three-year-old Wimbledon Hawkeye may prove dangerous in receipt of weight and rates the biggest danger on the back of a good fourth-place finish in the 1m4f G2 King Edward VII Stakes at Royal Ascot.
Palladium finished 1.25L behind the main selection in the aforementioned G2. Thereabouts once more.
El Cordobes appears the pick of the Charlie Appleby duo with William Buick booked.
