16:55 (Wolverhampton) Black Smoke

Black Smoke ran on strongly to get the better of Virtual Hug over course and distance.

A 4.4lb swing in the weights might not be enough to prevent a follow up although the latter is expected to get closer this time around.

The consistent Foinix would hold solid claims on form shown when third tackling 2m at Lingfield.

Socialist Agenda cannot be ignored having delivered two decent-placed efforts at Southwell.

18:30 (Wolverhampton) Tan Rapido

Tan Rapido can continue his progress when he returns to the all-weather in the Get Raceday Ready Restricted Novice Stakes.

Charlie Fellowes’ three-year-old won handily at Windsor last summer after being narrowly beaten at Newcastle on his racecourse debut and can hit the ground running on his seasonal reappearance.

19:00 (Wolverhampton) Giant

Free Digital Racecard At Raceday-Ready.Com Handicap could be between the two last-time-out winners Giant and Bell Shot.

The Richard Spencer team have been in good form of late and the former who won over seven furlongs at Kempton towards the start of last month can defy a rise in weights while the latter is raised 4.4lb for winning when tackling this trip at Lingfield recently and looks the obvious danger.

Woodstock returned from nine months off with a neck fourth at Newcastle. Could go close.

Rock Opera rates a solid each-way chance.

20:30 (Wolverhampton) Meng Tian

Meng Tian did all his best work at the finish when fifth over seven furlongs at Southwell following a break.

That outing looks good prep and with the step up in trip to suit this five-year-old son of Territories is considered off a slightly reduced mark.

Recent narrow course and distance winner Angel Of Antrim must enter calculations, while Locked N' Loaded could be thereabouts after a decent third-placed finish attempting 1m at Southwell.
