Windsor racecourse

The flat season is in full swing and Windsor has another dose of action for us on Monday and the Planet Sport tipsters have been casting their eyes over a packed card.

We kick off with some details on our four selected horses at Windsor, with a full set of tips from the eight-race card at the bottom of the page.

Don't forget to check out the full racecard, results and live odds in Planet Sport's racing live centre.

Good luck and please gamble responsibly.

(Please be aware selections could become non-runners after article's first publication)

16:34 (Windsor) Dark Dreamer

Robert Cowell’s Dark Dreamer only won by a neck last time out but that did not quite tell the full story and he can add to that success at Windsor.

The handicapper thought he won a bit cosily too, as he has been raised 5lb, but he is up to defying that.

He was making his handicap debut having been gelded and was well supported, so a big run was expected and he looks a likely improver.

Dark Dreamer is back out in the Jules Gozo Holidays Leading Villa Specialists Handicap and can keep progressing.

17:09 (Windsor) Nemov

Clive Cox’s Nemov ran a huge race on debut at Kempton back in January when second to Andrew Balding’s Fire Demon, beaten half a length.

The winner has won twice since and is now rated 93, so a race like the British Stallion Studs EBF Maiden Stakes should be a formality unless there is something special lurking.

17:39 (Windsor) Lyric

Lyric is one to watch in the Jean & Leslie Spencer Memorial Maiden Stakes.

He shaped up nicely when second at Kempton on debut and is well rested.

Further improvement is likely for the three-year-old with a step up in trip.

19:09 (Windsor) Mrembo

Mrembo looks to kick off his season with a win in the Castle Hotel 'Steaks' Fillies' Handicap.

She was a course-and-distance winner last season, but this is her first outing since October when she finished third at this track.

She has an excellent record with rider Olivia Tubb and this is the perfect race to resume with, so she should be in with a shout.

Windsor selections in full:

Windsor: 16:34 Dark Dreamer, 17:09 Nemov, 17:39 Lyric, 18:09 Fighter Command, 18:39 Fast Steps, 19:09 Mrembo, 19:39 Calm Waters, 20:09 Mary Of Modena.
