Windsor afternoon racing tips: Best bets for Monday, April 22

Windsor has a cracking meeting on Monday and the Planet Sport tipsters have been feasting their eyes upon a packed card, with a bumper eight races for punters to enjoy.

16:45 (Windsor) Newyorkstateofmind
Newyorkstateofmind is one to watch in the Royal Windsor Horse Show Handicap.
Last time out, Ruth Carr's three-year-old returned from a break with an impressive win at Wolverhampton over six furlongs.
There is still plenty of improvement to be made and a good showing is expected.
17:50 (Windsor) Deira Mile
Deira Mile can set himself up for a crack at a big race down the line with victory in the Global QA ISO & BRC Consultants Restricted Novice Stakes.
The Owen Burrows-trained three-year-old is a fancy price for the 2000 Guineas and Derby and while those Classic entries might look a little fanciful, it would be no surprise at all were he to prove up to winning a Pattern race.
In three runs for Charlie Johnston he showed a decent level of form and earned a handicap rating of 85.
Sent to Burrows, he made his debut for the yard in the Group One Futurity Trophy at Doncaster where he massively outran his 50/1 odds.
He finished a highly creditable fourth to potential Derby runner Ancient Wisdom, beaten less than three lengths and not surprisingly that form makes him stand out back down in this sort of company.
18:20 (Windsor) Composite
George Boughey’s Composite is fancied to defy top-weight in the Free Digital Racecard At raceday-ready.com Handicap.
Oddly he began life over hurdles, but since being switched to the Flat he has won two out of three.
He carried a penalty to victory last time out, beating two promising types in the process, and that could be pretty useful here.
19:20 (Windsor) Auric
Hugo Palmer has started the season well so Auric is of interest in the Get The Inside Track With raceday-ready.com Handicap.
Fourth of eight on debut when 40-1, he then won at Kempton a month later. A mark of 74 looks fair enough.
