Wincanton each-way racing tip (1315): Ginderella can live up to market support

Hurdlers take flight at Wincanton
With barely a couple of points covering the top seven in the betting, the jury is clearly out deciding the verdict of this three-mile hurdle in testing conditions at Wincanton.

Heading the market at the time of writing, albeit somewhat uneasily, is the as-yet winless Aldsworth, who has shaped up well for new trainer Robbie Llewellyn, falling when well placed on season debut, and then a close-up runner-up of ten last time out at Hereford three weeks ago.
Emma Lavelle’s Rajaran showed promise when running on to be fifth on his reappearance at Plumpton five weeks ago, while Colleenymore looks capable of improving on two encouraging outings this term that saw her finish within four lengths of the winner at Chepstow (second of eight) and Ludlow (fourth of 10) last month.

Awesome Foursome also merits consideration as the only runner with a win already under his belt this term, but the one to catch the eye in both the Tipstrr camp and the betting market is the six-year-old mare Ginderella.
Although yet to visit the winners’ enclosure in seven attempts, she finished her last campaign with a best-yet performance when coming third of ten at Chepstow, with runner-up Boleyn Boy franking that form by winning on his season debut at Huntingdon in October.
Ginderella clearly needed the run when fifth of seven on her own season bow at Uttoxeter, and looked much more like rekindling last term’s promise when coming fourth of 15 at Exeter 16 days ago.
Trainer Mitchell Hunt is yet to saddle a winner this term, but he rarely sends horses to Wincanton without some kind of return, having seen nine of his 14 hurdlers make the frame there, including two winners.
The 25/1 price that was briefly available last night was quickly snaffled up, and the subsequent market support that has brought Gindella’s odds down to as low as 7/1 in places suggests that connections, tipsters and bookmakers alike are expecting good things from her here.
- Suggested bet: Ginderella in the 13:15 at Wincanton
