Taunton each-way tip: Harry Cobden to lift Taritino to new heights

The final race of Taunton's jam-packed Wednesday card has got Tipstrr's each-way experts frothing at the mouth, with 16 coming to post and bookies paying out on four places.

20:10 Taunton: C & D Southwest Handicap Hurdle (2 miles 1/2 furlong)

The market leader in the early stages of the betting is Winterwatch, who comes into this one in mixed form.

Last time out, Harry Fry's gelding finished third in a Class 4 handicap hurdle at this track albeit over a slightly longer trip.

He has been there or thereabouts and the drop in class may give him a good chance, but with odds of around 3/1 at the time of writing, there's plenty of value to be had elsewhere in the field.

Planet Sport Bet offer: Bet minimum £20+ cash on any runner in the race and if Jolyjump is in the first four, win a £5 free bet

For those looking at larger, more each-way friendly odds then Earth Cry has the potential to make the frame.

Neil Mulholland's six-year-old is coming into this off the back of a second in a handicap hurdle at Market Rasen, albeit finishing a whopping 45 lengths behind the winner.

He also has two wins to his names in the National Hunt Flat race at Wolverhampton and Ludlow and with four places up for grabs, he should be a contender to make the frame at good odds of 12/1.

However, our pick here is Taritino, who is in the capable hands of Planet Sport Bet ambassador and Champion Jockey challenger Harry Cobden.

He's finished fourth in all three of his outings over hurdles so far and he has been tussling with some top talent including Paul Nicholls' excellent Kalif Du Berlais at Kempton in February.

Prior to his move to Joe Tickle's yard, he contested flat races for Amy Murphy and was a winner at Redcar over seven furlongs.

The booking of Cobden is an excellent one and could hold the key to Taritino finishing higher than his standard fourth.

The Planet Sport Bet ambassador is more determined than ever to secure winners with the deadline for the Champion Jockey crown being Saturday, that could potentially swing things in Taritino's favour.

Suggested best bet: Taritino each-way in the 20:10 at Taunton
