Taunton best bet (1650): Our Nel to rule the roost

While the jumps season is reaching its final furlong, there is still plenty of action over the sticks that's attracting attention amongst the Tipstrr camp, including the penultimate race at Taunton.

Taunton 16:50: Royal National Lifeboat Institution Mares' Handicap Chase (2 miles 5 and a half furlongs)

This mares' handicap chase promises to be a competitive one with several in with a shout of a victory here.

Cooleenymore is the favourite at the time of writing and has been very consistent this season, regularly finding the places including a second at Leicester in January.

She's familiar with the course as her last outing was here at Taunton, albeit over a longer three-mile trip, where she finished third out of five.

Relative newbies to the training circuit, David Killahena and Graeme McPherson, have sent Come On Du Berlais to Taunton for her second run of the season at the Somerset track, albeit they will hope that she improves upon the disappointing run she had here when finishing fifth over a slightly shorter trip, some 19 and a half lengths behind the victor.

If you're looking for an each-way contender, then Planet Sport Bet ambassador Harry Cobden takes the reins of Annie Wicks, who has odds of 7/1.

Champion Jockey contender Cobden has not been in the saddle for Evan Williams' seven-year-old before, but she has been improving, finishing third at Ffos Las last time out after a couple of disappoiting outings earlier on in the season.

However, our pick goes to Our Nel, who has been attracting plenty of support in the Tipstrr camp.

Despite falling in her last outing, which was also at this course, her form this season suggests a visit to the winners enclosure could be imminent.

In four of the five races prior to that outing, she finished in the top three including a second at Worcester where she finished ahead of fellow contender Come On Du Berlais.

Trainer Harry Fry is on a bit of a hot streak with three of his last four runners finishing in the top two including a win for Geezer Rockstar at Ascot on Sunday, while Ben Bromley is a solid booking with a 12% strike rate this season and this will be the ninth time he has teamed up with Our Nel.

Expect a competitive race with Our Nel in with a shout of her first visit to the winners enclosure.

Suggested best bet: Our Nel in the 16:50 at Taunton
