Michael Appleby's Billyjoh is one to watch given his previous form at Southwell. 

The four-year-old is a course-and-distance winner, with wins here in February and December. 

However, his last two outings haven't been up to his usual standards and with his odds at the time of writing being 10/3, we think there's better value to be had elsewhere. 

Our selection for this one is Tiger Crusade, who is turning out for David Simcock's yard. 

The seven-year-old struggled last time out at Meydan, but had a good season in 2023, winning at Newmarket and he came very close at Wolverhampton. 

He also has previous at this course, with a victory on the all-weather in January 2023, albeit over the slightly longer distance of seven furlongs. 

The booking of Callum Shepherd is a good one, with six of his last 10 rides resulting in top three finishes. 

With odds at the time of writing of 10/1, you've got a good chance of making a profit if you back this tiger to roar.
