13:07 (Sedgefield) One More Stroke

Donald McCain could be on the mark in the opening Download The Vickers.Bet App Maiden Hurdle with One More Stroke.

Went well when resuming under rules when second in a Musselburgh two mile jumpers flat contest.

Get A Superstar found success by half a lenght attempting a heavy ground jumpers flat race at Newcastle and has a good chance on hurdle debut.

Golden De Coeur also rates highly after showing plenty of promise this season at Ffos Las with a maiden hurdle second tackling a similar trip prior to a 2m maiden hurdle third last month.

13:37 (Sedgefield) Coniston Clouds

The Nicky Richards-trained Coniston Clouds has a 5lb rise to overcome for a win at Catterick but he appeared to score with plenty up his sleeve and can follow up at Sedgefield in the Vickers.Bet Novices’ Handicap Chase.

Horacio Apple's scored by an easy 12 length attempting a heavy going chase at Bangor-on-Dee and will provide the biggest threat.

15:07 (Sedgefield) Sunday Soldier

Sunday Soldier arrives in excellent form bidding for a hat-trick following a pair of Musselburgh victories including in a similar level contest last week over two miles and has a top chance.

Callin Baton Rouge was not disgraced at Fontwell on Boxing Day when fourth in a 2m3f handicap hurdle and could go close.

Riccirella filled the same position during November at Doncaster tackling this trip and holds claims.

15:42 (Sedgefield) Speed Davis

McCain’s Speed Davis was bought for a six-figure sum having won an Irish point-to-point and will undoubtedly fare better than when fading into sixth on his debut under rules in April when he runs in the Les Parker “20 Years At Sedgefield” Open National Hunt Flat Race.

Future Fortune made a winning debut in October at Hereford before an Ascot Listed eighth.

Back down in grade and open to further improvement so is expected to make a bold challenge.
