Sandown each-way-racing-tip: Lady Hamana ready to upset market leaders

Sandown’s meeting is covered by ITV Racing and Planet Sport Bet’s Money Back offer, and to cap it all Tipstrr’s each-way specialists have guided us towards one of their most popular picks of the day.

14:50 Sandown: Molson Coors Scurry Stakes (5 furlongs)
Short-priced market leader Great State appears to hold all the aces here after backing up a win on Southwell's all-weather track in March with back-to-back turf success at Thirsk and York in May, while the presence of Oisin Murphy in the saddle only adds to his credentials.
The favourite's successes have caught the eye of the handicapper, however, and his top weight and low odds suggests there could be better each-way value to be found elsewhere, particularly with four places up for grabs in some quarters.

All of which brings us to the Karl Burke-trained filly, Lady Hamana, who was lightly raced as a juvenile in 2022, but still had time to offer a glimpse of her potential when beating 10 rivals on Wolverhampton's all-weather track last August.
A turf outing in France in March gave little away, but she shaped up much more promisingly when finishing a respectable fifth of 13, three lengths behind the winner, in a listed fillies' event at Chelmsford seven weeks ago.
Lady Hamana will be piloted by the capable Clifford Lee, who does not visit Sandown often, but who has made the frame in half of his limited appearances at the Surrey track.

She will be wearing headgear for the first time, and with a weight advantage over all of the market principals, she looks the pick of those low in the betting capable of getting among the favourites.

Suggested bet: Lady Hamana each-way in the 14:50 at Sandown
