14:32 (Salisbury) Stratusnine

Stratusnine made an eyecatching debut when going down by just a neck to the more experienced Arabie at York and is taken to go one better in the Danny McNab Bookmakers British EBF Restricted Novice Stakes.

Hugo Palmer’s charge was slowly away and had plenty to do halfway through that contest but picked up really well once getting the hang of things.

A half-brother to six winners, including multiple scorers Ayaar and Dual Identity, Stratusnine hails from a yard which is doing well in juvenile races this term.

16:07 (Salisbury) Jodhpur Blue

Favourites have done well in this race the past four years so punters can keep a keen eye on the market.

Jodhpur Blue is a son of four-time G1 winner Blue Point out of Sacred Path. The Charlie Hills- trained gelding looks a leading chance on racecourse debut.

Fellow newcomers Perennial and Harmoniser command respect with the former a costly purchase for connections of Ed Walker and the latter a Sea The Moon gelding capable of a bold showing for the in-form Roger Varian yard.

17:07 (Salisbury) Elladonna

Elladonna was given a confident ride when scoring at Nottingham last month and looks one to keep on side when bidding for a double at Salisbury.

James Fanshawe’s filly did not race as a juvenile but started to make up for lost time at three, building on a trio of promising efforts by justifying favouritism at Kempton.

She was a little frustrating on her first couple of starts this term but, as her breeding would suggest, enjoyed stepping up in distance on her most recent outing.

There was plenty of market support for Elladonna that day and William Buick produced her with a smooth run from the rear to score in fine style, making her worth sticking with in the Sorvio Insurance Brokers Margadale Fillies’ Handicap.

17:42 (Salisbury) Strike

Strike showed a willing attitude to prevail on his seasonal reappearance and a 3lb rise up the ratings is not excessive for the Shipseys Marquees Handicap.

Regal Envoy is a former course winner who registered his sixth career success when keeping on to land a narrow Lingfield triumph ten-days ago and is set to go well again
