Punchestown racing tips: Champion Novice Hurdle - Found A Fifty hoping for frame finish

Tipstrr’s tipsters have provided their insights for the Champion Novice Hurdle and if it gives us the same shocks as last year’s race then there could be some serious profit to be made.

16:15 KPMG Champion Novice Hurdle (Grade One)

This is the first of 12 Grade One races to be run at the Punchestown Festival, and it is run over the same distance as the opening race, with a dozen hurdles to be negotiated over the extended two-mile trip.

Last year's race was a good one for the bookies when strongly fancied Sir Gerhard failed to deliver, with both Mighty Potter (20/1) and 100/1 runner-up Gatsby Grey finishing comfortably ahead of the odds-on 4/7 favourite.
If this year's renewal creates a similar shock that would mean odds-on favourite Facile Vega would face further disappointment following his runner-up spot behind Marine Nationale in the Supreme Hurdle at Cheltenham.
Willie Mullins saddles the favourite along with Diverge and It Etait Temps, but if any or all of those falter, then maybe Found A Fifty could replicate last-year's surprise for Gordon Elliott after looking more than useful since converting to hurdles in January.
