Enola Grey, Danielsflyer (four times), Hortzadar and Star Shield (three times) are all course and distance winners with their plus points but it’s the former most likely to compete.

Gemma Tutty’s horse is at home in a field of this size and has only failed to make the top five once in 11 runs for her and rarely misses out on the frame.

She’s met her match more often recently as her rating has climbed but all three of her starts over eight furlongs at Newcastle have produced a top-two finish.
