Fariha tops the market after making an extremely promising debut in Nursery here a month back and shaped as if she could go one better.

Enpassant also turned in a promising performance at Lingfield last month to build on another second-place finish at Newcastle before that.

Never Fear is lightly-raced and won at Wolverhampton last time out, building on her debut win at the same track but not without a few stray efforts in between.

Petra Celera bagged her second win last time out in a career-best but pays the price with a 5lb penalty.

Chat Up Line is the only other winner in the race but he’s looked out of sorts for several races now and has a lot to do.

Fariha only made her handicap debut four weeks ago, but she was unfortunate to lose out over this course and distance when bumping into decent company.

She was travelling soundly and well placed until approaching the final furlong when she was hampered, but she still recovered to finish very strongly.

That effort has cost her 2 lbs in the weight but she looked more than capable of winning that race on another day so the hike may not prove enough this Saturday.
