17:35 (Newcastle) Wheres The Crumpet

Wheres The Crumpet aims for back to back victories after a course and distance success in late March. Enjoys these conditions.

Hot Team, who was beaten by Wheres The Crumpet in March, has placed twice from last four outings including a third at Catterick. Not disgraced when fifth tackling track and trip last time.

Scarriff was a good second two starts back and may get among the places, along with Crazy Crackers who resumed after a three month lay-off with a fifth at Southwell.

19:20 (Newcastle) Test Of Love

Test Of Love returned after a nine month absence with a promising second over six furlongs at Pontefract and progression is expected in the Alfie's Bar Handicap.

Cuban Storm showed considerable improvement on seasonal reappearance when runner-up in these conditions and also has a solid chance.

Socialise finished ahead of Cuban Storm scoring over course and distance in April and appears to be on an attractive mark.

Wren Officer holds each-way claims in search of a double. Won tackling these conditions last time.

19:55 (Newcastle) Dawn Of Liberation

Dawn Of Liberation placed twice from three outings this campaign including a good second at Wolverhampton tackling 1m1/2f, so will be firmly in contention.

Outrun The Storm appears to be on a competitive mark following a nose success in these conditions. Entitled to improve for reappearance effort and could go close.

Zapphire was a good winner last campaign at Haydock, and also landed a place here in September. Makes seasonal reappearance and holds each-way claims.

Ron O carries top weight. Drops back in trip and class which could spark progression after a disappointing fifth of sixth in last outing to Newcastle in March.

21:00 (Newcastle) Higher Law

Higher Law looks ready to break through for a victory on current mark. Good second at Wolverhampton tackling six furlongs and continues racing over the same distance.

Dandys Gold aims for back to back wins following a course and distance success. Enjoys these conditions. Apprentice claims extra weight relief.

Magic Gem returns after a break of eight months. Some useful form from last season.

Flavus Titus might be worth an each-way shout. Fifth at this track when last seen in October.
