Newcastle each-way tip: Very Classy best of the rest in two-horse race

Rarely has a betting market been as top-heavy as for this one-mile novice stakes, and that has got Tipstrr’s each-way specialists rubbing their hands in gleeful anticipation of the outsider options.
19:15 Newcastle: Stay Golden with BetMGM Novice Stakes (1 mile)
If this race runs according to bookies’ expectations, then nine of the eleven runners will be a long way distant in the rear-view mirror of market principals Leadman and Dolce Courage, who are available at a miserly 4/6 and 5/4 respectively at the time of writing
While that appears to suggest a two-horse procession to the line, it also offers an imbalance in each-way pricing for whoever occupies the other each-way place, which will potentially be more lucrative than either of the market leaders, should they win.

Seven of the other nine are priced at 50/1 or greater, and if we assume the market has calibrated things correctly, then we should be looking at another two-horse race for third between Crown Board and Very Classy.
Obviously in a race of largely untried three-year-olds, there is little form to go on, but we can at least be assured that Very Classy should arrive in good shape from the yard of Geoff Oldroyd, whose limited outings have produced three winners from the last nine he has saddled since August, all of them ridden by regular jockey Harry Russell.
While it’s difficult to argue beyond the two favourites, what happens behind them should be just as fascinating, and who knows, one or both of them might just have an off-day as well.
Suggested bet: Very Classy each-way in the 19:15 at Newcastle
