14:20 (Newcastle) Twoshotsoftequila

TWOSHOTSOFTEQUILA (3) travelled strongly as favourite seven-days ago at Catterick delivering a comfortable 9L success. Could prove tough to beat if maintaining that form.

YOUR OWN STORY (2) opened his chasing account at Wetherby this time last year. Resumes after an eleven-month absence holding a solid when resuming record.

EQUUS DANCER (1) has twice won returning from long breaks and warrants serious consideration.

14:50 (Newcastle) Esprit Du Potier

ESPRIT DU POTIER (2) pulled up in latest tackling a G2 at Doncaster. Prior to that easily made all landing a maiden hurdle at Ayr by 6L. Key player.

Jonathan Burke gave CHOSEN TEMPLAR (1) a tremendous ride when resuming to open his account at Musselburgh. Failed to complete next time attempting the same Doncaster race as the main selection however is in the mix.

Any market interest for point-to-point master RACEVIEW ROAD (5) on jumps debut can be heeded along with AUDREYS PRIDE (6) who could place delivering initial hurdle outing.

15:20 (Newcastle) So They Say

SO THEY SAY (1) made all and dug deep on penultimate start when getting off the mark at Musselburgh. Not fluent and unplaced at the same venue next time however appears well positioned for a return to winning ways. Consider.

GIPSY LEE ROSE (4) just prevailed attempting the longer journey at Kelso. Enters calculations on that form but looked out of sorts the next two outings. Needs to bounce back dropping in distance.

LIBBY (2) was badly hampered before subsequently making a mistake on chase debut at Carlisle. Open to progress and cannot be confidently ruled out. TOROSAY (3) stayed on nicely tackling the trip at Newcastle and might make her presence felt.

15:50 (Newcastle) Geordies Dream

GEORDIES DREAM (2) made the frame three times from five hurdle outings. CALL ME JACK (6) took a keen hold at Southwell but rallied and kept on well to register his first win under rules. Small rise in weights is by no means insurmountable. Shortlist.

Dual hurdling winner POLISUD (4) placed over course and distance last month and cannot be ignored from an each-way perspective. WOTYOUDUNNOW BUDDY (5) could secure a placing.

16:20 (Newcastle) Glory Hights

GLORY HIGHTS (10) was just held by a neck returning from a short break over course and distance in January prior to finishing third attempting a longer journey at the same venue shortly after. Consider.

BALLYQUIN BAY (6) is a fifteen-race maiden who was subject to strong support last time when fourth at Kelso. Placed tackling shorter here on penultimate start. Danger.

BALLYVAUGHAN BAY (1) has twice made the frame from three outings since reappearing for a new yard in December. With further progression anticipated a bold bid is possible. GREENHILL GARDENS (9) holds place chances.

16:50 (Newcastle) Lawrenny

LAWRENNY (8) and LONG TIME LISTENER (13) will likely both prove popular in the betting.

Newcomers FOREST BLAZE (6) and BATTLE BORN LAD (1) both maintain nice profiles and can be closely monitored for any moves in the market.
