Churchella delivered a three length success in a similar level course and distance handicap and rates a leading contender.
Bay Of Naples has been consistent in recent months including a solid third attempting a handicap at Southwell, and is the main danger.
Bookmark showed ability at Haydock when third tackling a higher class handicap. Can improve in this easier race.
Brunello Breeze filled the same position at Southwell AW among this company tackling the trip and could feature.
14:50 (Newcastle) Franberri
Franberri is worth another chance in the Always Gamble Responsibly With BetUK Maiden Stakes.
A promising initial run over 10 furlongs at Yarmouth saw Roger Varian’s charge sent off favourite when stepped up to a mile and a half at Ripon at the end of September.
Having run so well on quick ground on her debut, easier conditions the second time did not seem to play in her favour as she came home a well-held third behind an all-the-way winner.
Tapeta provides a new test, but this looks a fairly average affair.
15:25 (Newcastle) Tafsir
Tafsir arrives in solid form having placed past three starts including a smart second in a heavy ground handicap at Ayr. Up in trip again and rates a leading player.
Cradonball Prince showed plenty of ability at Pontefract two runs ago finishing second tackling a higher graded handicap and is likely to feature.
Sophar Sogood ran with credit contesting a course and distance handicap managing fourth and holds claims.
16:00 (Newcastle) Lou Lou’s Gift
Lou Lou’s Gift can boost her paddock value with a win in the Best Racing Odds Guaranteed At BetMGM Maiden Fillies’ Stakes.
A Lope De Vega half-sister to Group Three winner Mighty Ulysses, Lou Lou’s Gift showed signs of ability when third at York at the first time of asking in September.
She was a bit keen early on but stayed on with purpose and has all the hallmarks of a future winner.
16:35 (Newcastle) Rainbow Rain
Rainbow Rain bids for a hat-trick following a narrow success over six furlongs at Carlisle and a handicap in this grade here attempting the journey, so will be a leading contender.
Lezardrieux produced a decent fourth tackling a track and trip handicap. Shortlist if at best.
After John won twice over course and distance last December and holds claims if showing best after mixed recent results.
Spirit In My Soul found success at Thirsk two runs ago and shouldn't be discounted.
18:15 (Newcastle) Explorers Way
Explorers Way scored by an impressive four and a half lengths attempting a lower level course and distance handicap. Top chance set to follow up.
Vince Le Prince narrowly found success at Catterick in a seven furlong soft ground handicap and could go close again.
Kelpie Grey is another last start winner landing a heavy ground seven furlong handicap at Ayr by a neck. Include.
Unsung Hero ran with credit here when a close fourth over six furlongs and could be an interesting selection.
