A 7.7lb rise in weights for winning over course and distance last time puts Epic Express on a career-high mark though could prove equal to the task.

Looks set to complete a double under talented apprentice Adam Farragher in the Download The Raceday Ready App Apprentice Handicap.

A potential threat can come from top-weight Artician who is interesting on first attempt tackling the 6f journey since his two-year-old days. Brought plenty of dash when third at Kempton last time.

Southwell runner-up Masterclass might go well raised 1.1lb.

 

15:20 (Lingfield) Landlordtothestars

Landlordtothestars could be ridden forward from this nice draw in stall two as there doesn't look as though there will be much pace.

The City Of Light gelding finished a close-up fourth over 1m1/2f at Wolverhampton in January and might go well following a short break.

Bidding for a hat-trick Cosmos Raj commands respect following back-to-back wins over 1m1/2f at Wolverhampton.

Last-time-out Southwell (1m) runner-up Francesi could be in the mix. Others to note include the returning to action Warning SIgn and Yeoman.

 

16:25 (Lingfield) Mahboob

Mahboob can make it two wins from two in the Tips For Every Race At raceday-ready.com Novice Stakes.

The four-year-old made an impressive debut for John and Thady Gosden over course and distance in December last year and can back that up with another trip to the winner’s enclosure.

Mahboob quickened up nicely in the final furlong to put the race to bed when beating Verbier by a neck.

Lakota Brave looks to be the chief danger as he tries to back up victory over the shorter mile trip at Newcastle last month under Hollie Doyle.

 

17:00 (Lingfield) Chiefman

The same combination of Doyle and trainer Archie Watson can gain compensation in the following Download The Raceday Ready App Handicap with Chiefman.

The three-year-old came off an extended break to beat Lunar Rocks by four and a half lengths at Newcastle.

He can make it a quickfire double despite a 6lb penalty.
