Kempton top racing tip: Look no further than red-hot yard

The 1900 at Kempton looks like a competitive race full of chances but Zero Carbon is a popular selection on the Tipstrr platform

19:00 Try Unibet’s improved Bet Builder Handicap

Favourite Hickory has won twice at Kempton and although those victories were in 2022, he produced two good place efforts at Ascot last year.

He’ll face stiff competition in the former of course and distance winners Carragio, Zero Carbon, Revolutionise, King Cabo, Follow Your Heart and Kiwano.

He defied his 50/1 start price to finish second of 25 with Saffie Osborne in the seat before following up with another solid effort on different ground.

Carragio looks like a major threat on paper but on the back of a 135-day break, it could be that he needs this run to get back in the swing of things.

Zero Carbon has got progressively worse across three runs since last winning and is on the back of a break but the ground is expected to suit as it did on his last win in August.

Planet Sport Bet Special: Bet £20 on the 1900 at Kempton and if Hickory wins by over one length, get a £5 free bet!

Notably, that was his second win at this course in 2023 and his yard is currently in great form.

The biggest factor could be that Zero Carbon is the only front-runner in the field which may allow him to take control and dictate the pace of the race to his liking.

Revolutionise has placed in three of four appearances and enjoys running at Kempton. His last appearance was promising but he’s received no support in the market, dropping from 7/2 to 15/2.

King Cabo has finished seventh of eight and ninth of nine in his last two outings. He’s winless in three, but all of those runs came over six furlongs.

He returns to six lengths on Wednesday but that alone isn’t going to turn his form around so others are more tempting.

Suggested bet: Zero Carbon to win the 19:00 at Kempton
