Kempton evening racing tips: Best bets for Wednesday, December 6

The Planet Sport tipsters have their eye on some top prospects at the evening meeting at Kempton on Wednesday, December 6.

Let's get the ball rolling with some details on our selected races at Kempton, and we've got a full list of selections at the bottom of the page.

Don't forget to check out the full racecard, results and live odds in Planet Sport's racing live centre.

Good luck and please gamble responsibly.

(Please be aware selections could become non-runners after article's first publication)

16:55 (Kempton) Honest Desire

There is a typically competitive card at Kempton but Honest Desire stands out in the Unibet More Extra Place Races Nursery Handicap.

The Godolphin juvenile had a lot to do from a bad draw here last month but made notable late headway from the back to finish just three lengths down in sixth.

Previously a good second to Neapolitan at the same venue, the gelded son of Frankel deserves another chance to show his true worth.

19:30 (Kempton) Al Mubhir

It was a decent Listed event Al Mubhir finished third in over one mile at Saint-Cloud last month.

Trained by William Haggas and with further progress possible on all weather debut can defy stall nine.

The unexposed Majestic Pride shaped as though a step up to one mile would suit when running-on for fourth over seven furlongs at Newmarket (Listed) in May.

Tempus goes well fresh and commands respect from ratings alone.

Last-time-out Chelmsford handicap winner Positive Impact cannot be ignored despite a suspicion he received the run of the race that day.

20:00 (Kempton) Vino Victrix

Vino Victrix was not unfancied for the Cesarewitch and has a good course record at Kempton, so he has each-way claims in the Unibet London Stayers’ Series (Final) Handicap.

Over the jumps at Haydock, Spirits Bay is rated a solid selection for the Trustatrader Approved And Reviewed Tradespeople ‘Introductory’ Hurdle.

The five-year-old was a dual bumper winner for Nigel Twiston-Davies last term and lost nothing in defeat on his hurdling bow at Sandown when he caught a tartar in Nicky Henderson’s Southoftheborder, coming home nicely clear of the rest.

20:30 (Kempton) Story House

The finale may well go the way of Story House.

The William Knight-trained three-year-old produced his best run to date when denied a nose at Wolverhampton last month and could easily have more improvement in the locker.

Recent course and distance runner-up Page Three should remain competitive despite a small nudge up the weights.

Absolute Queen, who was second at Wolverhampton last time, can be firmly involved with the drop in trip.

Kempton selections in full:
