14:40 (Kempton) Pedley Wood
Pedley Wood should be on the mark at the Sunbury venue.
He has won each of his last two starts at Hereford and Taunton, showing plenty of determination in the course of both victories.
A wind operation combined with switching to fences has been the making of him and he can make it three on the bounce in the Every Race Live On Racing TV Novices’ Handicap Chase.
15:10 (Kempton) Katate Dori
Katate Dori showed a good level of ability at Hereford when third tackling a similar trip contesting a maiden hurdle. Open to further progress and rates a serious player.
The main danger comes from Wot You Wearing who ran well at Sandown finishing a neck second in a 2m4f novices handicap hurdle.
Bentley's Return makes for appeal following a sound third over this distance in a Plumpton maiden hurdle during December and holds claims.
Hello Sunshine could be of interest on return.
15:40 (Kempton) Killer Kane
Pedley Wood’s fellow Joe Tizzard-trained runner Killer Kane is one to watch as he turns out in the Every Race Live On Racing TV Handicap Chase following a wind operation.
Third in last season’s Topham, Killer Kane made little impact on his seasonal bow in October before stepping up on that when dropped in trip at Newbury at the beginning of December.
He was run out of second on the final sprint to the line but it nevertheless represented an improved showing and he remains on a reasonable mark, back at a track where he has winning form.
16:50 (Kempton) Tradecraft
The Nicky Henderson-trained Tradecraft produced a promising debut second in a 2m jumpers flat race at Ascot during November, and with Nico de Boinville on him again he represents a top selection.
The Bluesman indicated promise attempting an Irish point-to-point and now makes rules debut racing for Paul Nicholls.
Night Stalker placed third at Ludlow when resuming before a Cheltenham eighth tackling a Listed jumpers flat event on New Years Day and holds claims.
White Riot is an interesting newcomer and is worth keeping an eye on.
