Nine runners will line up for the 19:00 at Kempton on the all-weather this evening with Jane Chapple-Hyam’s Shades Of Summer dropping out.
Orzo heads the market and commands some respect as a course and distance winner, but this is just his second run since.
He was absent for 539 days after that win and has shaped well since with a pair of third-place finishes here and at Newmarket.
Elsewhere, Roaring Success continues to improve and built on a Wolverhampton win with success at Ascot recently.
Urban Decay is the only other course and distance winner and would be a threat if back to her best.
She much prefers the all-weather surfaces having finished fifth, second and twice winning in her four starts across Wolverhampton, Southwell and Kempton.
George Boughey’s Wild Side recently completed a hattrick with wins at Yarmouth, Catterick and Redcar on turf.
She defied her price of 22/1 when finishing second in her first all-weather appearance since last October just two weeks ago.
That was a particularly promising effort given the fact it came on the back of four months off. Her overall success this year is also positive as she’s claimed three wins and two places from six runs.
The likes of Ivory Madonna, Miss Bella Brand and Red Maids all have lots to do at the bottom of the market.
