He showed no sort of form when held back to finish 11 of 11 at Ascot last time out but he most likely needed that run after nearly a year out of action.

It is also worth noting he was gelded during that time and trainer James Fanshawe, who got plenty out of him as a three-year-old, is in good form.

Buccabay is back at Kempton after a fine effort here two weeks ago when he finished second. He lost by a neck and has paid for that performance with just a solitary pound in the weights.

Watchya, Baldomero and Leap Abroad all have previous but all need to find a lot more to compete here.

Justcallmepete has plenty of previous on the all-weather, winning six times, but has yet to get off the mark at Kempton.

His most recent form on the Polytrack has been very promising and he could well be in the frame.

Gisburn looked strong on his return from a five-month break and a gelding operation.

After finishing 11 of 21 at York against plenty of good company, he took full advantage of dropping down a grade to win at Goodwood last time out.

He timed his run beautifully in that race and looked like he had much more to give, so the 3 lb rise in weights could be manageable.
