(Please be aware selections could become non-runners after article's first publication)
12:50 (Hereford) Kentford Mallard
Kentford Mallard won latest outing over course and distance and handicapper has not reacted too severely, so a bold follow-up bid is anticipated in the Planetsportbet.Com 'Hands And Heels' Handicap Hurdle.
The generally reliable Sheila Nash maintains a workable mark and could go well on second run after wind surgery.
The Longest Day missed on a hat-trick at Hexham last start. A return to potentially better ground here is in her favour.
13:50 (Hereford) Baltray
Emma Lavelle’s Baltray can strike on the same card in the NAF Racing Best Turned Out League “National Hunt” Maiden Hurdle.
The Milan gelding was third in his sole bumper start as a four-year-old and then made his hurdles debut for Lavelle with an encouraging second-placed run at Fontwell in early October.
If building on that, he can be in the thick of the action again when stepped up marginally in trip to two miles and three and a half furlongs.
14:20 (Hereford) Do You Think
Three morning withdrawals have reduced the field to eight mares, leaving Harry’s Hottie perched somewhat precariously at the top of the betting market.
She joins joint-bottom-weight Sadie Hill in having a 14-pound advantage over the rest of the field, and that might be a telling factor over three testing miles.
There are plenty of others in with a shout, however, with challenges likely to come from Shirocco’s Dream, who won on her chase debut in February, along with the promising My Girl Katie, who is expected to build on her first effort over larger obstacles at Chepstow 24 days ago.
However, Do You Think could be ready to pounce under the seven-pound allowance of in-form claimer Dylan Whelan.
Trainer Emma Lavelle suffered a virus in her yard last year and after Christmas last year had a terrible run of form, but she appears to have turned the corner now and the yard has been in sparkling form.
Do You Think won this race last year, but her form tailed off in line with Lavelle’s stable, so it’s safe to assume she also suffered ill effects from the virus.
She was last seen at Ffos Las six months ago, when she was in touch until unseating her rider three out, which might just have done her a favour here, as her mark has dropped a pound to 102, just five pounds above last year's winning mark.
Today’s good ground might be on the fast side for our seven-year-old, but it was only good/soft last year so she might get away with it.
Worst case scenario is that she might just get tapped for toe at the business end but still be in with a chance, and she certainly appears worthy of an each-way play at 7/1 or better.

14:50 (Hereford) Bonttay
Fergal O’Brien’s Bonttay can make a winning return to action in the Best Odds Guaranteed At Planetsportsbet Mares’ Handicap Hurdle.
The six-year-old was twice a winner last term and was the runner-up on every other start, ending her campaign with a decisive Kelso hurdle success on soft ground over two miles.
She has historically gone well after a break and victory here could be the starting point of another productive campaign, with perhaps loftier aims in store.
15:20 (Hereford) Bagheera Ginge
Bagheera Ginge improved tackling fences and brings an experience edge over his rivals.
Resumed from a short break to win at Warwick last month and remains feasibly handicapped for the Bet 10 Get 10 At Planetsportbet Novices' Handicap Chase.
Sporting Mike enjoyed a productive time hurdling last season and could do better now attempting fences.
Big Blue Moon ended last term with a three and a half length win hurdling at Cartmel. Narrow second at Chepstow subsequently and can win chasing.
Booking of Harry Cobden for Rockinastorm catches the eye.
