14:55 (Hamilton) Leodis Dream

Leodis Dream still looks in love with the game at the age of eight and can take his win tally into double figures in the Morton Fraser Macroberts LLP Handicap.

Paul Midgley’s valiant veteran made all in fine style on the all-weather at Southwell in April and was then a rock-solid runner-up at Ripon behind Mattice, who has since gone well in a higher grade at York.

15:25 (Hamilton) Glenfinnan

There was a lot to like about Glenfinnan’s triumph at Ascot last month and he looks worth keeping on side in the Weatherbys Digital Solutions Clyde Handicap.

The son of Harry Angel was tried over a mile during his time with Andrew Balding, which featured two wins from nine starts, but has been dropped back to six furlongs since moving to Michael Dods.

Following a sighter at Newmarket, he travelled strongly in a competitive Ascot contest before striking the front two furlongs from home.

Market leaders Billyjoh and Russet Gold both made Glenfinnan work for victory, but he was always doing enough to keep them at bay and the feeling is that there may have been a bit more left in the tank.

Now a four-year-old gelding, he is perfectly primed to make further progress and develop into a really decent sprinter.

16:30 (Hamilton) Jackhammer

Jackhammer won this last year. Produced a solid fourth in this handicap grade over 1m here a month ago. Can build on that run and is a serious player.

Shine On Brendan ran with credit here last week finishing fifth contesting a 1m handicap in the grade. Placed second in this race twelve months back. Holds every chance.

El Pro has been showing promise this season. Worth a second look.

17:05 (Hamilton) Hot Team

Hot Team found success by an impressive eight and a half under this apprentice jockey last week at Carlisle contesting a soft ground 1m3f handicap in this class.

The eight-year-old races off the same mark and will be hard to beat again in the ~cleanstay At Hampton By Hilton Handicap.

The main danger comes from Lincoln Rockstar scored by one length last week at Beverley among this handicap company tackling the trip.

Humble Spark brings strong all weather form with a near second over 1m2f at Newcastle preceding a success there six weeks ago. Back up in journey and could go close once more.

Twoforthegutter showed ability at Beverley last week finishing third attempting 1m4f and will be in the mix.
