Goodwood each-way tip: Bold bid expected from Cooperation in Stewards’ Sprint

It’s the final day at Goodwood, and with worsening weather set to play a significant part, Tipstrr’s pundits are swaying towards a horse that should relish the testing conditions.
13:50 Coral Stewards Sprint Handicap (6 furlongs)
Early market leader Zaman Jemil looks a worthy favourite on the strength of his convincing win at Thirsk a month ago, and his chances should be boosted further with the booking of Ryan Moore this time around.
However, most of his better runs have been on faster ground than he is likely to find at Goodwood, and the overnight and forecast rain is likely to make his six-pound penalty a bigger factor than it might otherwise have been.
One that might be flying under the bookies' radar is the Murphy/Keady-trained five-year-old
Cooperation, whose recent form is better than his figures might suggest.

He could be forgiven his unplaced finish at York last time out eight days ago, when he was never able to recover following a sluggish break.
His previous outing at Haydock was much more eye-catching, as he performed best of all the high-drawn runners in a competitive 12-runner handicap, finishing less than a length behind the winner, and ahead of proven campaigners such as Illusionist, Music Society and Mr Wagyu.
Most significant of all was his previous outing at Thirsk in May, when he thrived in heavy going to ease clear of a dozen rivals to win with plenty in hand.
That victory suggests he should relish any worsening of ground conditions at Goodwood more than most, and it won't hurt that he will be in the capable hands of Luke Morris, who is fresh from an impressive front-running victory on Temporize in Friday's Goodwood Handicap.
