13:50 (Goodwood) Original Outlaw

The Ralph Beckett-trained Original Outlaw was a noted purchase from the Tattersalls 2023 October Yearling Sale Book 1 sale and could make a winning debut.

The Flying Seagull looks a major contender on the back of his pleasing debut third over six furlongs at Chester.

Red Sand finished runner-up at Bath when resuming and might go well now raised in distance.

Nicely-bred newcomer Berkshire Kameo needs to be included on your shortlist.

15:00 (Goodwood) Ya Hafhd

Ya Hafhd can get his first win on turf in the British Stallion Studs EBF Fillies’ Handicap.

Unraced as a juvenile the Roger Varian-trained daughter of Sea The Stars can progress from her reappearance at Doncaster.

A length second over 10 furlongs in South Yorkshire the four-year-old will enjoy the step up in trip.

15:35 (Goodwood) Sea Of Roses

Sea Of Roses can get her season up and running in the William Hill Festival Stakes.

The four-year-old was third at the same Sussex track to Gather Ye Rosebuds earlier this month over a mile and a half and after weakening on the run in the drop in trip to 10 furlongs will be of benefit.

Invariably highly tried throughout her career, Andrew Balding’s filly was second to the top-class Arrest on her juvenile bow and has run in races like the Musidora, Oaks and Ribblesdale Stakes.

She is likely to come on for the first run and can return to the winner’s enclosure for the first time since beating Infinite Cosmos at Doncaster in her two-year-old season.

17:10 (Goodwood) Fair Wind

Fair Wind came home nicely racing off the pace to be second from this mark at Ascot following a lengthy break.

Trained by Owen Burrows and could strip fitter for that outing. Remains lightly raced.

Dropping back to five furlongs for the first time looks an interesting move with Bishop's Crown delivering a good second over six furlongs on heavy ground three weeks ago.

Others to note include the speedy Night On Earth and the Oisin Murphy-ridden Safari Dream.
