Southwell racing tip (1945): Mostly Sunny set to benefit from Class 2 experience

Horse racing tipster Jose Breval of the Tipstrr platform has identified Mostly Sunny as a likely candidate as he drops down in Class at Southwell.

Diamond Bay produced a career-best when winning at Wolverhampton last time out as he bossed proceedings in an 11-runner handicap.
He’ll face a five-pound hike as a reward for that performance and will need to find a little bit more to win again here, but is expected to go off as the favourite.
Sea Stone, Zain Nights and Mostly Sunny are all winners over this distance with the former producing two wins from three runs so far this year. He’ll be ridden by Frankie Dettori.
Saffie Osborne has the ride on Zain Nights who produced a career-best at Goodwood 16 days ago, building on a fourth-place finish a month earlier and a strong second at Kempton.

However, Mostly Sunny, donning cheekpieces for the first time, looks like the one to watch here. He’ll be saddled and ridden by the female duo of Heather Main and Gina Mangan.
After finishing second in a Class 3 at Goodwood in June, Mostly Sunny made the step up to compete in the Class 2 Northumberland Vase Handicap at Newcastle a month later.
He went well that day, finishing second again, before struggling to a 16th-place finish in Coral Goodwood Handicap.
Last time out saw a return to form as he finished in the frame in a 14-runner handicap at York. All of those races were Class 2 so the drop-down in Class here could pay dividends.
