13:57 (Fontwell) Wilful

Wilful let favourite backers down at Huntingdon earlier this month but is taken to recoup those losses in the Best Odds Guaranteed At Yeeehaaa.Bet Maiden Hurdle.

Jonjo O’Neill’s charge always looked to be struggling to cope with Lexie’s Moon recently but he did at least battle on gamely when going down by just three-quarters of a length, with that pair well clear of the rest.

The five-year-old had earlier beaten a consistent performer in Largy Force at Catterick before chasing home previous winner Wendigo at the same track.

All the evidence suggests Wilful is a solid individual capable of coming out on top in a race of this nature.

14:32 (Fontwell) Hatos

Hatos brings strong form to the Get Raceday Ready Handicap Chase. Found success at Ffos Las and Wincanton which preceded a runner-up effort in a Leicester three runner two mile handicap chase.

Similar comments can be applied to Copper Cove who won here by seven lengths attempting a 2m2f handicap hurdle on heavy ground before a good second contesting a two mile handicap hurdle at Lingfield.

Dreaming Blue has been going well including a decent third tackling this handicap chase level at Wincanton and makes for appeal.

15:42 (Fontwell) In D’Or

In D’Or flourished under more forceful tactics when romping home by 12 lengths at Ludlow last week and can follow up in the Daily Price Boosts At Yeeehaaa.Bet Handicap Hurdle.

Amateur rider David Maxwell will hopefully keep things simple again and a 7lb penalty for such a convincing victory is not a concern, especially as he would have an extra 5lb to carry on top of that on his reassessed mark.

16:52 (Fontwell) Lightning Maqueen

Lightning Maqueen represents Gary Moore's top local yard. Showed plenty of promise on both runs to date with a decent debutante fifth at Newbury preceding a staying on third in a Kempton 2m junior jumpers flat race, so will be a leading contender.

The main danger will come from Electric Mason who maintains a promising profile. Making rules debut finished third at Ascot prior to a Kempton success by 2L over 2m six weeks back.

Twin Earth went well when resuming managing a good third in a Hereford 2m jumpers flat event and holds claims.
