Epsom Downs Racecourse

Epsom sneaks in its penultimate meeting of the season on Thursday, September 14 and the Planet Sport tipsters have fished themselves out of the Rubbing House to serve up some red-hot tips.

Let's start with some info on our selected horses, then you can get a full list of all the tips from Epsom at the bottom of the page.

Don't forget to check out the Epsom racecard, results and live odds in Planet Sport's racing live centre.

Good luck and please gamble responsibly.

(Please be aware selections could become non-runners after article's first publication)

15:25 (Epsom) Prince Alex

Ben Ffrench Davis can enjoy a day to remember at Epsom as he teams up with Prince Alex in the Everyone’s Booking Fit Show 2025 Jump Jockeys Derby Handicap.

Trained by his father, Dominic, Prince Alex finished third at Goodwood on his first start for the handler and remains 5lb lower than his last winning mark.

16:00 (Epsom) Mrembo

Mrembo bids for a hat-trick following a pair of victories at Bath and Windsor recently. Step up in class, but slight drop in trip and handles undulating tracks well.

Lethal Touch found success in his last visit to Epsom in August over the same distance, up in level and warrants respect.

Semser and Lost In Time are also both worth considering.

17:10 (Epsom) New Heights

New Heights found success in a course and distance handicap at this level in July. Unbeaten at Epsom, with two wins from tow outings.

The main danger comes from Dion Baker who arrives in solid place form with a pair of runner-up efforts in this company at Brighton and Yarmouth.

Bowland Park and Roundabout Silver shouldn't be ruled out.

17:45 (Epsom) Rose Bolt

Rose Bolt scored narrowly at Bath two runs ago attempting a one mile maiden before a seventh on handicap debut on the all-weather at Kempton. A step up in trip, but can improve further.

Shot Of Love ran well at Thirsk two weeks ago when a close third in a one mile handicap. Is back up in level and holds claims.

Put Kentucky Bluegrass and Canadiansmokeshow on your shortlist too.

Epsom selections in full:

EPSOM: 2.15 Queen’s Music, 2.50 Redredrobin, 3.25 Prince Alex, 4.00 Mrembo, 4.35 Anticipating, 5.10 New Heights, 5.45 Rose Bolt.
