Chelmsford best bet: Hosanna Power to take the win

Chelmsford racecourse

There's a thrilling all-weather meeting at Chelmsford on Sunday and the Tipstrr camp have been attracted to this competitive Class 3 handicap.

15:50 Chelmsford: Best Odds Guaranteed At bet365 Handicap (1 mile 2 furlongs)

Rowayeh is the clear favourite in the early betting, but Owen Burrows' filly has struggled since the start of the season.

She resumed in May and finished seventh of 16 at newmarket, however she did improve with a fourth at Royal Ascot, which was in a Class 2.

She had good wins at Sandown and Beverley last year, but they were on turf and she hasn't had an all-weather run since her debut in 2022, therefore the Tipstrr camp have been looking elsewhere in the field.

The inexperienced Mighty Nebula is attracting plenty of attention in the market.

Roger Varian's gelding finished behind the reopposing Wadacre Gomez on handicap debut over this course-distance last time out, while he won at Kempton earlier this year.

All four of his career outings so far have been on the all-weather and he has enjoyed success so is definitely one to watch.

Speaking of Wadacre Gomez, he looks a tempting each-way punt given that he has form on this course, with four of his six career wins coming at Chelmsford.

However, the Tipstrr camp are opting for Hosanna Power and the gelding has had a brilliant start to his career so far.

He has found the first three in all five career outings so far, which included a victory over this distance at Newbury.

He represents Sir Michael Stoute's yard, who have had a good year so far with a 15 percent strike rate.

Meanwhile Saffie Osborne is in the saddle and she also has an impressive strike rate of 14 percent this year, which offers plenty of hope for the four-year-old gelding.

The Tipstrr camp are throwing their eggs in his camp and Hosanna very much has the power to storm home.

Suggested best bet: Hosanna Power in the 15:50 at Chelmsford
