14:45 (Chelmsford) Remoji

Roger Varian and jockey Silvestre de Sousa can strike with Remoji in the Each Way Extra At bet365 EBF Fillies’ Restricted Novice Stakes.

Unraced at two, she showed her inexperience when second first time at Brighton but built on that in finishing strongly for victory at Beverley, albeit running green again.

With those runs under her belt, she should be hard to beat this time.

15:15 (Chelmsford) Cell Sa Beela

With plenty of prize money up for grabs at Chelmsford, a competitive eight-race card is in store at the Essex track.

The feature is the bet365 Queen Charlotte Fillies’ Stakes, with a chance taken on Cell Sa Beela returning to winning ways.

The Varian-trained four-year-old has on the face of it not hit top gear so far this season, having ended the last campaign with a Listed success at Ascot, where she had the smart Breege immediately behind her.

But while the record book says she was only 18th of 24 on her last run at Royal Ascot, she did move with a bit of menace before finding the mile of the Kensington Palace stretching her.

Coming back to seven furlongs is going to suit and she just might be ready to run a big race.

16:25 (Chelmsford) Abraaj

Abraaj is set for a tougher test after securing two wins from his past three outings.

The six-year-old is a proven stayer following a 2m success at Kempton Park and must be a leading chance for victory in the Download The Bet365 App Handicap.

Hedonista started the new campaign with a good second at Royal Ascot and was surprisingly downfield at Goodwood but she can return to better order in this race.

Mountain Road is aiming for back-to-back wins following a comfortable 4L display at the Newmarket course in June but it should be interesting for him tackling a longer trip.

17:00 (Chelmsford) Beylerbeyi

Beylerbeyi appears well-handicapped trying tougher opposition and he scored over 1m at Doncaster two outings ago and can be equally competitive switching to AW.

Local Music is also a justified favourite after taking a 7f contest at Lingfield in early June.

A Winner over course and distance three starts ago and she reverts to conditions that suit her.
