The penultimate contest of Catterick's meeting has grabbed the attention of Tipstrr's racing experts, with a wide-open race expected in this handicap.

The current market leader is Red Mirage, who will be making his seasonal bow here.
Last season he struggled, with no top three finishes in his seven outings, but he returns from a winter break here and will be in less esteemed company given that he's dropped down in class to Class 5 for this one.

Last season at Class 6 level, he was mr consistent and was never too far away from the frame, and grabbed a comfortable win at Ayr too.

However, our selection in this handicap is Beauty Choice, who is a course-and-distance winner.
As well as that course-distance victory last time out, he won a Class 4 at the all-weather Wolverhampton in January, so he very much knows where the winners enclosure is.
He is also a horse who enjoys the soft ground, so Catterick's going will give backers of Beauty Choice a hope that he can make it back-to-back wins at this course.
Joanna Mason is a good booking, given that she was in the saddle for both of those wins and she has a good recent record, winning three of her last five races and has a strike rate of 16% in 2024.
