Beverley best bet: Tiberio Force to power home

The Tipstrr camp have been looking around Wednesday's racecards and have been attracted to this handicap at Beverley which has plenty of contenders for top spot.

16:10 Beverley: Hurn Handicap (Div I) (1 mile 4 furlongs)

The early leader in the betting is John Berry's Cloudy Rose and the mare certainly has the form to back up that tag.

A win last time out over this distance at Brighton was impressive and she is also a course-distance winner, having landed in this exact same race last season.

Despite the successes she has had, the run prior to that Brighton win was a disappointing one, finishing ninth out of 13 at Kempton after a run of poor results at the end of last season.

We think there's better value elsewhere and Hollie Doyle's hope Heatherdown Hero looks like an each-way contender.

Doyle led Rebecca Menzies' gelding to a win on Newcastle's all-weather track in the winter alongside a second, so she has a good partnership with the horse.

With Doyle at the helm you can't rule out Heatherdown Hero and he's definitely worth an each-way bet with nine coming to post.

However the Tipstrr camp seem to have put their eggs all in one basket and have opted for Simon Whitaker's Tiberio Force.

A mixed start to the season has seen solid runs but the grey has never been in the mix for victory, finishing fourth and fifth respectively.

Last season he came close on several occasions including seconds at Catterick and Wolverhampton alongside a third at Pontefract.

He also had a good season in 2022 and won at Nottingham with odds of 10/1 so Whitaker's gelding will be looking to end that lengthy wait for a win.

Jockey Mark Winn looks a solid booking with a decent 12 percent strike rate this calendar year and could bring a first win in two years for Tiberio Force.

Suggested best bet: Tiberio Force in the 16:10 at Beverley
