Bath best value bet: Kodi Dancer ready to bounce back under Hollie Doyle

There’s a few in with a decent shout in this five-furlong dash, and some of Tipstrr’s racing pundits believe Hollie Doyle is an ideal booking to bring Kodi Dancer back into the winner’s enclosure.

An uncertain betting market sees Zing Up, Jazzagal and Deputise all vying for the favourite tag, with the latter the only runner to be lining up with a last-time-out success under his belt (a minor 10-runner affair at Southwell 11 days ago).
He certainly enters calculations under a penalty, but arguably the best value is to be found away from the market leaders, where Coronation Cottage has caught the eye of some of Tipstrr’s each-way specialists as a previous distance winner (albeit three years ago, since when she has won just once in 30 subsequent outings).
All of which leads us back to Kodi Dancer, who is a well-exposed three-year-old filly with more than 20 races already under her belt, and who appears capable of putting herself in the mix at this level.

Just two wins in that time indicate a modest performer yet to truly fulfil her potential, but she looked back to her best when winning over this distance at Brighton just three races ago in July.
A subsequent outing over a longer trip on Chelmsford’s all-weather track did not work out, and she finished an off-the-pace sixth of 13 at Lingfield 10 days ago.
Her connections continue to have high hopes for her over the minimum trip, however, and the booking of Hollie Doyle for one of her three rides here today seems to be a significant step towards getting the best out of their filly.
