Ayr racecourse

The first of two jumps meetings at Ayr this month and the Planet Sport tipsters are keen to start off in profit on Tuesday, February 13.

We kick off with some details on our four selected horses at Ayr, with a full set of tips from the seven-race card at the bottom of the page.

Don't forget to check out the full racecard, results and live odds in Planet Sport's racing live centre.

Good luck and please gamble responsibly.

(Please be aware selections could become non-runners after article's first publication)

14:15 (Ayr) Moonlighter

Kim Bailey’s Moonlighter has been running with credit in some decent southern contests this term and may find the company more conducive now travelling north for the Virgin Bet Every Saturday Money Back Handicap Chase.

Course and distance winner Netywell will provide the threat after recently securing his second chase win in a four-runner affair at Haydock.

Fia Fuinidh landed a handicap hurdle tackling track and trip around this time last year. Finished second attempting a steeple here in latest and is feared when resuming following wind surgery.

The consistent Travail D'Orfevre does not know how to run a bad race and cannot be ignored from an each-way perspective.

14:45 (Ayr) Artic Row

Artic Row was a good winner here in the run-up to Christmas and that form was franked by the second scoring next time out.

Nick Alexander’s gelding was set to be thereabouts again at Kelso until taking a tumble at the penultimate fence and another bold showing is anticipated in the Virgin Bet Best Odds Daily Handicap Chase.

15:20 (Ayr) Annaghbeg

Former three-time point-to-point winner Annaghbeg was narrowly denied at the venue two runs back. Finds a good opportunity to shed his maiden tag.

Myretown returned from a substantial absence last month with a respectable second and rates an obvious danger.

President Scottie placed both hurdle starts at the course since reappearing in December resuming from a long break. In the mix.

16:30 (Ayr) Deep Charm

Deep Charm delivered chase wins at Musselburgh and Kelso since his seasonal reappearance in November.

Just denied a hat-trick at Kelso last month and looks a major player stepping back up in trip.

Camp Belan struggles to win but finds himself attractively treated on figures and a bold bid is anticipated.

Penultimate start Kelso winner Gipsy Lee Rose holds solid each-way claims along with Baron Briggs who has made the frame twice in three attempts with fences.

Ayr selections in full:

AYR: 1.45 Joie De Vivre, 2.15 Moonlighter, 2.45 Artic Row, 3.20 Annaghbeg, 3.55 Enemy At The Gate, 4.30 Deep Charm, 5.04 Road To Mallow.
