Yet to win when resuming but generally runs well with two minor placings from three tries. Rates highly and makes plenty of appeal. CQ FEATURED FIRST (6) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 1½f at The Albuquerque Downs Racetrack & Casino, beaten 2 lengths. Has a fair record when second up, including two top-three finishes. Must raise the bar but he has the talent to test this line-up. NOVA WAGON (10) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a nice race when fresh from a lay-off last time out, finishing third and beaten only 1. 5 lengths over 1½f at The Albuquerque Downs Racetrack & Casino (Dirt) after being prominent at the turn. Going up a level this time but he deserves plenty of thought. BUCHANAN 747 (9) progressed nicely last time out to finish just 0. 8 lengths from the winner in second over 1f180yards at Lone Star Park. Likely improver who looks sure to play a big role.
