FIRST WARNING (6) did little and finished 2 lengths from the winner in eighth over 2f at Lone Star Park last start, a less impressive effort than his sixth at The Albuquerque Downs Racetrack & Casino the run before. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he cannot be taken lightly. MY FAVORITE SPIRIT (4) returned from a lay-off eight weeks ago when he was beaten 2.75 lengths into seventh over 1½f at The Albuquerque Downs Racetrack & Casino. Stepping up a level this time but with added fitness he is one of the chief contenders. HES CUBAS B (5) was close to a maiden win before a three-and-a-half months break, finishing off with a placing over 1f130yards at The Albuquerque Downs Racetrack & Casino (Dirt). Jockey Christian Cardenas back aboard. Rates highly and is one of the main hopes. EBW MACGYVER (11) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 1f80yards at this track, beaten 2.75 lengths. Fitter and sure to run well.
