BETH D (8) resumed from a lay-off last start with a sound second over 1f130yards at Will Rogers Downs (Dirt) after being in contention on the corner. Meets a stronger field but she is capable of a big run. BUTTERFLI (10) resumes from a lay-off of ten weeks. Looked close to a win before that break, finishing off with a minor placing over 1f180yards at The Albuquerque Downs Racetrack & Casino (Dirt). Good effort to launch last prep when in the money at Ruidoso Downs over 1f130yards. Good chance to break through. IVY CHANEL (3) finished out of the money when fresh from a lay-off two starts back then was beaten 2 lengths when fifth in a 1½f contest at The Albuquerque Downs Racetrack & Casino three-and-a-half weeks ago. Finds a tougher race but she has the ability to test this field. RISKEE CARTEL (9) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1f130yards at Lone Star Park, beaten 1.5 lengths into seventh. Better than recent efforts suggest.
